London Global Gateway
Faculty can now apply for the Global Gateway Faculty Research Awards (GGFRAs). The program, funded by Notre Dame Research and Notre Dame International, aims to highlight the University’s Global Gateways for the advancement of research and scholarship at Notre Dame. The deadline to submit a proposal is Monday, March 5, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. EST.
“Projects submitted to the GGFRAs program should showcase the best of Notre Dame scholarship, feature high international visibility, and support the University’s Catholic mission,” said Hildegund Müller, associate vice president for research and associate professor of classics. “All proposals should also fully take advantage of the unique opportunities that the University’s Global Gateways have to offer.”
The GGFRAs provide annual funding up to $50,000 to support faculty research and fellowships. The grants are open to full-time, regular faculty from all Colleges, Schools, and fields of discipline. The internal program also encourages the use of Notre Dame's Global Gateways, which offer unique opportunities for researchers to work with original sources and materials, to collaborate and network, and much more. The purpose of the grant is to support internationally significant individual faculty research projects and/or collaborations with locally-based research academies, universities, or research groups.
