The Office of the Vice President for Research is pleased to announce the University’s Internal Grants Program for scholarship and research for the 2013-2014 academic year. The Internal Grants Program seeks to support Notre Dame faculty researchers and programs with the goal of advancing our scholarship and growing the reputation of the University. In the 2012-2013 academic year, the program made 20 awards totaling $1.4M through four grant competitions. Since 2007, the OVPR Internal Grants Program has awarded $7.4M in grants distributed across the University.
The competitions this year are similar to the competitions from previous years with improvements based on the response received to the external review of these programs conducted late last spring. The participation of so many of you in the external review is much appreciated. One significant change is that the submission deadlines for two of the competitions have been moved to the spring semester as noted below.
The four competitions are:
- Faculty Research Support Initiation Grant Program (Deadline October 28, 2013)
- Faculty Research Support Regular Grant Program (Deadline October 28, 2013)
- Equipment Restoration and Renewal Program (Deadline February 3, 2014)
- Library Acquisition Grants Program (Deadline February 3, 2014)
