How can I contribute?
Each member of our division holds an all-important key to making Notre Dame Research a Great Place to Work—getting involved. NDR operates under the belief that all of us have a responsibility to contribute to our work environment in a friendly, proactive, and team-oriented way. Moreover, we will all succeed if we unite our diverse voices and opinions in service of one another and the NDR mission—to grow, strengthen, promote, translate, and safeguard research, scholarship, and creative endeavor at the University of Notre Dame.

Current NDR committees include:
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
- NDR Cares
- Connect with your colleagues and boost NDR's online presence by participating in our LinkedIn group, the Notre Dame Research Community.

All members of the division automatically receive the weekly internal staff e-newsletter, Dome to Den, and the quarterly public-facing e-newsletter, Research at the University of Notre Dame.
Dome to Den was developed at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic as a tool to keep remote workers informed, connected, and encouraged. Recognized in September 2020 by email marketing software company, Emma, D2D strives to provide unique and informative content that is light-hearted, inclusive, and personal.
The division celebrates together at the annual We Love July party, hosted by Bob and Deb Bernhard. Previous events have run the gamut from baseball games to movie nights, but the theme of We Love July is always the same—summer fun for all ages! Recipients of the annual REF-ie Awards are announced at this event and employees are invited to bring their families. The WLJ celebration is one of the ways NDR strives to foster a positive workplace culture. Read more
Each December, employees are also encouraged to connect during NDR's Christmas Celebration.
With the intent to involve more people across NDR in shaping our workplace culture, past initiatives such as "Great Place to Work" and the employee-led NDR Anti-Racism Book Club were created.
