Rule Of Law

Notre Dame International is partnering with the Faculdade de Direito - Universidade de São Paulo (FDUSP) to present a conference on October 3, 2017. The Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption Conference aims to bring together intellectuals from the University of Notre Dame, FDUSP, foundations, industry, and policy groups to discuss matters including but not limited to economic law, human rights, transparency, constitutional law, accountability, and racial inequality. This comparative perspective and sharing of knowledge can support legal and policy analysis as well as design recommendations that take into account specific aspects of Brazilian society and institutions.

The Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption Conference is an integral dimension of the University of Notre Dame’s commitment to build meaningful relationships with Brazilian institutions in the service of a shared common good.

A panel presentation composed of faculty members from the University of Notre Dame and FDUSP will lead the discussions. The panel will address and delve into the topic of rule of law, its implications, and impact. At the conclusion of the moderated presentation, the panel will take questions from the audience. The conference will be held at FDUSP, and conducted in English. View the live stream here according to the schedule below.
