The McCloskey New Venture Competition is pleased to announce the teams advancing to the semi-final round in the 2020-2021 Competition. These teams have been working diligently all year under challenging circumstances, and have risen to the top as some of the Competition's most promising ventures!
174 teams submitted ideas in the initial first round. Teams were evaluated by nearly 300 judges and guided by individual mentors. The 30 semifinalists will submit a virtual pitch to a panel of judges and attend a virtual Q&A session. Teams chosen to continue to the Finals will compete virtually on April 30, pitching to a panel of carefully selected judges.
Members of the public will be able to stream the final round pitches. The awards ceremony will be held immediately following the Finals, highlighting all the award winners, including the Grand Prize Winner!
The Finals will also be recorded and posted on the McCloskey New Venture Competition website.
