2018 Diploma Ceremony

Congratulations to the Class of 2018! This video, screened at the Arts and Letters Diploma Ceremony, features several seniors reflecting on their time at Notre Dame and in the College of Arts and Letters.

“You definitely see the world differently and how things could be made better and use your imagination to tackle real world issues,” said design student Alexis Dorsey, who will be working as a researcher for a Chicago-based design firm.

“You’re thinking about how you can serve those who are less fortunate and how you can put your life towards service of a greater good,” said Natasha Reifenberg, a philosophy major who will join the asylum team at the National Immigrant Justice Center.

“I’m really glad that I am graduating from the College of Arts and Letters,” said sociology and Africana studies major Lamara Parnell, who will be attending the UCLA School of Law. “I wouldn’t have thrived and I wouldn’t have flourished if I hadn’t followed my passion.”
