Three undergraduate math majors at Notre Dame were recently recognized with prestigious national awards.
Sree Kancherla
Sreeraahul Kancherla, a senior, was awarded an National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship which he will use to pursue a PhD in Economics at Berkeley.
Michael Foley
Michael Foley, a junior physics and math major currently studying in Chile, was awarded a Goldwater Scholarship.
Katie Gallagher
Katie Gallagher, a sophomore math and music major who will study math at Oxford next year, received an honorable mention for the Goldwater Scholarship.
