We recently posted our employment data for the Class of 2016, and employment rates for NDLS graduates remain strong. Over 81 percent of our 2016 graduates secured long-term, full-time employment requiring bar passage or for which a J.D. is considered an advantage. The positions spanned a wide variety of fields: 64 percent in law firms, 14 percent in government, 11 percent in judicial clerkships, 8 percent in business and industry, and 3 percent in public interest.

The data for our most recent graduating class also continue to reflect the truly national character of Notre Dame Law School. Graduates in the Class of 2016 were employed in 28 states plus the District of Columbia, and the three largest employment states were Illinois, New York, and California. You can find detailed employment data for NDLS graduates in the classes of 2014-2016 on our website.
