Facilities and Resources
The University and Notre Dame Research support more than 40 core facilities and research resources that are available to on-campus researchers as well as external users. These research facilities support a vibrant research community and are fully staffed to provide expert guidance, support, and instrumentation for their users.
Use of the core facilities is typically on a fee-for-service basis; please check their websites for more details. For any questions on the core facilities at Notre Dame, please review these resources or contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
TRANSITIONING FROM CORES TO iLAB
The University is currently transitioning from CORES to Agilent iLab’s Core Facility Management software, which provides increased functionality for core facilities. This includes improved scheduling for resources, access controls for equipment needing trained users, cost-tracking for projects, and robust reporting capabilities.
It is expected that CORES will be sunsetted by the end of the 2020 calendar year. Core facilities are transitioning to the new system in multiple waves throughout the year.
