Benjamin Hoggan

Biography

As the Venture Liaison Program Manager, Ben seeks out commercialization partnerships to aid the university in translating research into impact. Ben is the university’s primary point of contact for the 1842 Fund and Studio.

Since joining the university in 2018, Ben has filled a number of roles related to technology commercialization. Through those roles, he has worked with hundreds of technologies across a broad range of disciplines and has worked with the earliest stage companies, guiding them through all aspects of startup creation, product strategy, and fundraising.

Ben holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Utah Valley University and a Master of Science in Technology Entrepreneurship and Innovation from the University of Notre Dame.
