Biography

Brendan Daly is a Research Engagement Specialist with Notre Dame Research, where he helps connect research excellence with public benefit. He partners with faculty, community organizations, industry partners, government agencies, and campus units to strengthen the societal impact of research through cross-sector partnerships, broader impacts planning, and community-engaged initiatives. His work aligns scholarly expertise with community needs, institutional priorities, and real-world outcomes, building pathways that translate discovery into practice.

Prior to joining Notre Dame, Brendan held leadership roles across artificial intelligence, automation, healthcare innovation, consulting, and entrepreneurship, helping organizations turn emerging technologies into practical solutions. A native of Cork, Ireland, he holds a Bachelor of Engineering from University College Cork, a Master of Science in Engineering, Science, and Technology Entrepreneurship from the University of Notre Dame, and an Advanced Certificate in Machine Learning from Stanford University. He is a three-time UiPath Most Valuable Professional (MVP), recognized for his contributions to the AI, automation, and enterprise technology communities.
