Ciara Donovan

Biography

Ciara Donovan serves as the Federal Research Associate. In this role, Ciara helps advance the University’s engagement with federal research agencies, assisting in the identification of funding opportunities and the coordination of faculty engagements with federal funding sources across our nation’s Capital. She also contributes to the overall federal engagement strategy, facilitating faculty and University connections with Capitol Hill, the Administration, and other Washington, D.C. stakeholders. In addition, Ciara was elected to the Board of The Science Coalition.

Prior to joining Notre Dame’s Office of Federal & Washington Relations, Ciara spent two years on Capitol Hill, working for fellow Notre Dame alumnus Congressman Brendan Boyle and most recently, Congresswoman Dina Titus.

Ciara graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Global Affairs.
