Damienne Jugovic

Biography

Damienne Jugovic joined Notre Dame Research in 2024 and serves as Research Communications Specialist for the Eck Institute for Global Health, as well as NSF ERC Environmentally Applied Refrigerant Technology Hub (EARTH). In collaborating with these entities to promote their events and ongoing research in global health disparities and refrigeration engineering respectively, she leverages the web, social media, email marketing, and more to tell their stories and extend their reach. Prior to joining NDR, she spent 15 years at Midwestern University’s College of Pharmacy, where she promoted faculty and students’ achievements in research and marketed the program to prospective students. She is a two-time graduate of Northern Illinois University, where she earned master’s degrees in both business administration with a focus in marketing, as well as in education / higher education student affairs. Her bachelor’s degree is in graphic design from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign.
