Biography
Heather joined Notre Dame Research Integrity in 2025 as the IBC Program Coordinator. She assists investigators in the preparation of IBC applications, provides support to the IBC, and helps ensure research at Notre Dame is in compliance with federal and institutional biosafety regulations. Prior to her role in Research Integrity, she served as a Laboratory Program Manager in the Notre Dame Department of Biology for six years. She has served on the steering committee for ND Spectrum LGBTQIA+ employee resource group since 2019. She graduated from the University of New Mexico with a Masters in Biology focused in Antarctic microbial ecology.
