Michael Hughes joined the Research Communications Team in January 2020 as designer and digital engagement program manager. He works with the rest of the team as a designer, strategist and email marketer aimed at furthering the reach and reputation of Notre Dame as a research institution. Michael is a 2009 graduate of The Art Institute of Pittsburgh, with a bachelor’s degree in graphic design. Prior to coming to Notre Dame he spent over 9 years working at Symphony Talent, an employer branding and talent acquisition agency where he worked directly with clients including The Home Depot, UnitedHealth Group, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and Northwell Health.
