Personal Protective Equipment Donations

Local healthcare providers are in need of personal protective equipment (PPE). The University of Notre Dame is working with the St. Joseph County Unified Command to coordinate and distribute PPE throughout the community. Donation Drop Off

Items should be dropped off at the Central Receiving shipping dock, which is located in the Mason Services Building, behind Notre Dame Federal Credit Union.

Central Receiving hours are 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday. Donations cannot be accepted outside of these hours. Please check the website, centralreceiving.nd.edu, before arriving, as hours are subject to change.

To find the donation site, enter the door that is located by the dock. Inside there will be a large box marked 'donations.’ Please place all supplies here. Please also ensure that any boxes left are marked as donations, too, so there is no confusion.

Please contact Jessica Brookshire, Senior Program Director in the Office of Clinical Partnerships, if you need help getting items to Central Receiving, as some support for collecting donations may be available.

Documenting Donated Items

Supplies purchased using grant dollars cannot be donated. However, Notre Dame will reimburse each lab for these items. In order to document this, please email the following details to Jessica Brookshire:

  1. Name of item(s)
  2. Quantity of each
  3. Lab/Facility FOAPAL
  4. Where supplies were originally ordered from

She will then process the appropriate account for reimbursement.
