Our mission is to be a powerful means for doing good in the world. Make it yours.

Notre Dame Research is hiring!
We are looking for talented employees who want their work to have meaning and impact. We are looking to fill a variety of remote, hybrid, and on-site roles in a number of areas of research administration. In addition to thoughtfully supporting our growing research programs, we are also looking to staff the implementation of a new, comprehensive electronic research administration system.
Our team is inspired by Notre Dame’s founder’s vision for the University to be “one of the most powerful means for doing good” in the world. Since our founding in 1842, Notre Dame has been at the forefront of innovation. Our researchers sent the first long-distance wireless transmission in the U.S., formulated synthetic rubber, and refined the principles of flight in one of the nation’s first wind tunnels. As a member of the esteemed Association of American Universities, Notre Dame’s research makes a difference, both at home and abroad. Building on the momentum of the $1 billion in research proposals recently submitted, annual research awards have topped $200 million for five straight years. Notre Dame’s campus, routinely ranked as one of the most beautiful in the United States, houses a state-of-the-art nanofabrication facility, seven particle accelerators, expansive museum and archival collections, and a cutting-edge 400,000-square-foot complex dedicated to science and engineering research.
In addition to top-notch facilities and a vibrant campus, a career at Notre Dame brings meaningful work, welcoming and collaborative colleagues, and an atmosphere that encourages learning, growth, and new ideas. The well-rounded benefits package includes excellent insurance, an on-site Wellness Center and pharmacy, exceptional educational and tuition benefits, generous retirement contributions, and more.
