Eric Matlis, Research Associate Professor, Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering Department, University of Notre Dame

Bryan Woosley is a civilian scientist employed at NSWC Crane and is assigned to the Chief Technology Office as the University Liaison. Woosley is the site coordinator for multiple Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) programs that include the Naval Engineering Education Consortium (NEEC); the Science, Mathematics And Research for Transformation (SMART) Scholarship for Service Program; and is the Office of Naval Research (ONR) Naval Research Enterprise Internship Program (NREIP) Coordinator at NSWC Crane. The goal of this meeting is to share opportunities available to faculty who wish to engage with NSWC Crane (and other Naval Labs) through funded research opportunities, collaborative research opportunities, and employment opportunities while maintaining university faculty status. Eric Matlis is currently part of NSWC Crane’s Temporary Faculty Program. Matlis will share his experience with the Temporary Faculty program, and be available to answer questions.
