How can I better prepare my samples for imaging and which tools are best for me to use?
The NDIIF will offer an in-depth lecture to inform individuals of the tools and techniques used in the field of optical microscopy. This lecture will be held in the basement of McCourtney Hall. During this presentation, relevant examples (biological and material) will be discussed regarding some of the common errors that our team often encounters in our imaging facility, answer questions regarding the differences in sample preparation, and determine which imaging platform might be the best fit for the goals of the experiment. Four hours have been scheduled to deliver this level of information which we feel will be the start of a solid foundation to help troubleshoot and inspire better imaging practices for efficiency and reproducibility in a variety of research fields.

We will be following up with attendees after the lecture to learn the value of the information provided and to make improvements for future offerings. B01 McCourtney Hall provides space for 84 people and we would like to see the room filled if possible. Attendees do not have to be current users of the NDIIF. We welcome all to participate.
