Alisa Zornig Gura

Biography

Alisa Zornig Gura joined Notre Dame Research in 2023 as the Associate Director in the Center for Broader Impacts (CBI). She is responsible for overseeing CBI's daily operations and consulting with faculty and proposal teams about broader impacts opportunities to enhance the societal benefits of their research efforts. Alisa graduated from Indiana University South Bend with a Master of Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. Before joining Notre Dame Research, she gained experience in academic community engagement at Notre Dame as Managing Director of the College of Engineering's Center for Civic Innovation, Science and Engineering Academic Community Engagement Program Manager in the Center for Social Concerns/College of Science/College of Engineering, and Executive Director of the Northern Indiana Regional Science and Engineering Fair. In addition, her committee and volunteer work include broadening participation of underrepresented groups in STEM.
