Alisa Zornig Gura

Biography

Alisa Zornig Gura is the Director of Research Engagement Strategy and Implementation at Notre Dame Research. She leads a team that assists with Broader Impacts and community engagement elements of research proposals. Prior to this role, she served for three years as the Associate Director of the Center for Broader Impacts. Before joining Notre Dame Research, she gained experience in academic community engagement at Notre Dame as Managing Director of the College of Engineering's Center for Civic Innovation, Executive Director of the Northern Indiana Regional Science and Engineering Fair, and additional public-facing campus roles. In addition, her committee and volunteer work include educational approaches to broadening participation of underrepresented groups in STEM. Alisa graduated from Indiana University South Bend with a Master of Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. She is a current Education Doctorate student at Loyola University Chicago.
