Biography

Carrie Jennings is the intellectual property manager at the IDEA Center. In this role, she is responsible for the University of Notre Dame's patent portfolio.

Drawing on five years of corporate IP experience, along with years of industry, finance and government roles, Jennings works with inventors and outside patent counsel to file, prosecute and maintain patent protection on University developed inventions for inventors, licensees and startups.

Jennings holds a current Project Management Professional certification, a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Sioux Falls, a Bachelor's in Environmental Science from Florida Institute of Technology and an Associate of Applied Science in Horticulture Technology from Southeast Technical Institute.
