Connor Howington joined the Center for Research Computing (CRC) in 2017 as an associate research programmer with the VectorBase team. He works with biologists to develop software that serves the vector research community and provides open access to vector-related data. Prior to joining the CRC staff, Howington completed an internship with the Center as part of a Research Experience for Undergraduates program, during which he studied common malaria-causing parasites and the mosquitoes that transmit them. He graduated from Louisiana Tech University in 2017 with a B.S. in computer science and a minor in music.
