Biography
Hoon Lee joined Notre Dame Radiation Laboratory (NDRL) in 2019 as a Scientific Computer Engineer. In this role, Hoon supports maintenance, upgrades, diagnoses problems, and troubleshoots scientific instruments and software used throughout the laboratory. In addition, he develops computer programs to remotely control and log data for linear accelerators and builds user interfaces between software and hardware for scientific instruments. Prior to joining Notre Dame, Hoon spent 15 years in advanced automotive engineering and clean transportation technologies in research, industry, and academic positions. Hoon completed his B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Hanyang University in 2004 and his M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2011.
