Kelly Sauerwein

Biography

Kelly Sauerwein is a Research Project Manager with Notre Dame Research, where she leads cross-functional teams and supports complex research projects through planning, coordination, execution, and continuous process improvement. She works closely with faculty, research teams, and administrative partners to develop project strategies, improve workflows, and keep projects aligned with goals, timelines, and resources. Prior to joining Notre Dame, she served as Senior Grants Manager for Keystone Symposia on Molecular and Cellular Biology, overseeing a federal grant portfolio and working with researchers and federal funding agencies from across the globe. Kelly holds a B.S. in Biology and an M.S. in Exercise Physiology, with a focus in clinical research, and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
