Susan Sampsell

Biography

Susan Sampsell is the senior director of finance, planning, and business operations. In this role, Susan drives development and implementation of short- and long-term strategic decisions for the University’s research enterprise. She also oversees the core functions essential to achieving the strategic goals of NDR, including finance, operations, and human resources. Prior to joining NDR, Susan served as director of finance and business for Purdue Research and the Purdue Applied Research Institute. She has dedicated her career to finance in higher education and has previously worked at Penn State University, George Washington University, Juniata College, and Carlow University. She is a Certified Public Accountant and holds both a bachelor of science in accounting and master’s degree in higher education administration from Penn State University.
