Data Stewards List

Each lab or research program that handles protected health information (PHI) is required to appoint a data steward who is responsible for authorizing access to PHI for their respective units and creating lab/program-specific data security plans.

Please contact the Research HIPAA Privacy Officer at compliance@nd.edu, to be added to the data steward mailing list (phi-stewards-list@nd.edu) for updates on HIPAA environment policies and procedures.
